I'm Listening
I don't need to see a therapist;
I just need to write more.
There is nothing a counselor can tell me,
that I can't figure out on my own.
Isn't that what they do anyway?
They just help you figure out what is going on.
I'll figure it out if I can tell someone.
All I need to tell is this paper.
With my pen as my mouth, it is just he and I.
I'll spill the contents of my soul,
To a complete stranger with
A white face and three eyes,
And thirty-three horizontal blue scars.
I don't need a therapist;
I have paper listening to me.
